Itinerary in details

• DAY 01 : HANOI - ARRIVAL
  

  Welcome by the Asia Hero Travel guide upon arrival at Hanoi airport then transfer with driver to the city (30 km - 45 minutes).

  Installation at the hotel (Room available from 1:30 p.m.).

  Depending on the time of your arrival flight, panoramic discovery of the city or free time for rest.

• DAY 02 : HANOI CITY TOUR

  Note: Breakfast at the hotel

  08:30 am - Welcome by the guide and the driver for the visit of the city of Hanoi starting with a visit to the local market. The Hanoi market is a theater of life always on the move where the most authentic meetings are waiting for you. A pedicab ride allows you to visit the old quarter of the city and the surroundings of Hoan Kiem Lake, a real pearl in the center of the city. Visit the Ngoc Son temple which is dedicated to Confucian and Taoist geniuses. This temple was built on the islet of Jade.

  City orientation tour before visiting the Temple of Literature which is the sanctuary of the Prince who propagates Letters. This Confucius temple is the first university in Vietnam which dates back to the 11th century. Then visit the Quan Thanh temple, the Tran Quoc pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh complex (closed on Mondays) and the single pillar pagoda.

  Lunch at a local restaurant and visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnography (closed on Mondays), a precious center for the exhibition and conservation of the cultural assets of the 54 ethnic groups present in Vietnam,

  Then visit Hanoi train station to discover the daily life of the Hanoi people who live just next to the rail. It is the oldest railway station in Vietnam with more than 100 years of history. Visit to old Hanoi - the district called "Hanoi with 36 streets and cooperations", and visit the big Dong Xuan market.

  Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• JOUR 03 : HANOI - HALONG CRUISE

  Free time for rest or shopping until transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for the flight to Luang Prabang in Laos.

  Arrival in Luang Prabang, welcome by our local guide and our driver then transfer by private car to the center of the city at your hotel. The rest of the day will be free for personal discovery of this charming city.

• JOUR 06 : LUANG PRABANG
  

  Discovery of this ancient royal capital with its religious and sacred monuments such as Vat Xieng Thong, Vat May with its beautiful carved doors, Vat Visoun (the oldest temple still active in Luang Prabang) and Wat Makmo (Stupa of watermelon) which is an impressive stone stupa built by the wife of King Visounarath.

  Then visit the museum in the former Royal Palace where you will discover the Phra Bang and the Golden Buddha that gave the city its name and is considered the palladium of the Laos nation.

  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• JOUR 07 : LUANG PRABANG - VIENTIANE

  Breakfast at the hotel, then Free time for rest or shopping until transfer to the Airport for the flight to Vientiane.

  Arrival in the capital of Vientiane in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for your little walk and personal discovery of Vientiane, the capital that looks like a small, relaxing city on the banks of the Mekong.

• JOUR 08 : Vientiane - Phnom Penh
  

• JOUR 09 : Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
  

  Departure to Siem Reap by air-conditioned vehicle. Stop at the village of Skun, famous for its fried spiders. Then, a short break at Prey Pras, with its superb landscapes of rice fields and water points where you can refresh yourself and taste local specialties.

  Then, stop in a village to taste the Krolann (sticky rice cake in bamboo) and discover the village of stonemason.

  Visit the famous Spean Prap Tos bridge located in Kompong Kdei village (60km before arrival in Siem Reap).

  Lunch at the local restaurant and walk on the Tonle Sap lake to visit the floating fishing villages of Chong Khnéas where the population, mostly Vietnamese, lives by fishing. Passage through the flooded forest where you can contemplate its unique landscapes. Arrival in Siem Reap at the end of the afternoon.

• JOUR 10 : SIEM REAP

  Departure at 8 am for the visit of Angkor Thom (The Great City) starting with the South portal, then continuing with the Bayon temple, dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, dedicated to Buddhism and composed of 54 gigantic towers, each with 4 faces of Avalokitesvara (216 faces in total).

  Visit the Baphuon temple (11th century) dedicated to Brahmanism via the Elephant terrace, 350m long, which hosted royal audiences and public ceremonies. Also visit the Terrace of the Leper King, which features several admirable carved figures of Apsaras. At the end of the morning you will visit the Phimean Akas (the celestial palace), a three-storey pyramid representing Mount Meru.

  Lunch at a local restaurant and then explore the wonderful temple of Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most extraordinary monuments ever designed by man, erected in the 12th century (1112-1152) in honor of Vishnu. Then, discover Phnom Bakhlèng, temple of the first city of Angkor, to watch the sunset over Angkor Wat and transfer to the hotel.

• JOUR 11 : SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE
  

  Free time until transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.

• JOUR 13 : XIENG KHOANG – VIENTIANE ( B,L )

  Petit déjeuner à l’hôtel,puis départ envoiture vers Muang Kham, vous visitez ensuite des villages ethniques Thai Dam et H’mong. L’après – midi, nous découvrons la grotte historiquebombardée pendant la dernière guerre de l’indochine, tuant de centaine personnes.

  Transfert ensuite à l’aéroport de Xieng khoang pour le vol à destinatioin de vientiane.

• JOUR 14 : VIENTIANE ( B,L )

  Petit déjeuner à l’hôtel. Toute la journée est consacrée à la découverte de la capitale Vientiane, Vous visitez les monuments représentants tels que Le Vat Sisaket-Ce temple musée est la construction la plus ancienne de Vientiane.

  Déjeuner dans un bon restaurant de la ville.

  Dans l’après-midi, nous visitons Le Vat HoPra Kheo: le temple du Bouddha d’Emeraude qu’il hébergea un temps. Puis le Stupa That Luang et l’Arc de Triomphe. Le reste de la journée est libre pour faire une promenade dans des charmants quartiers colonials reposants ou vous pouvez déguster une tasse de café dans des terrasses ombragées en comtemplant les scènes de vie fluviale au coucher du solei sur le Mékong.

  Dîner libre et nuit à l’hôtel.

• JOUR 15 : VIENTIANE – DÉPART ( B )

  Petit déjeuner à l’hôtel, puis temps libre pour vous récupérer ou faire vos derniers achats dans les marchés typiques de la capitale jusqu’au transfert à l’aéroport international de Vientiane pour le vol du retour
