Visa on arrival is the most convenient and cheapest way to get a Visa to Vietnam. Secure, easy and Save.

This is an alternative way to get your visa for Vietnam. You just need to send us a copy of your passport, your arrival date and type of visa you want to get. We will process an approval letter of visa on arrival for you.

The processing time normally takes 2 working days to be done, but in any urgent cases, we can still make it even in an hour.

When you have a valid approval letter of visa on arrival, you can pick up your visa at any of our international airport on arrival. (Hanoi Airport, Ho Chi Minh City Airport, Cam Ranh Airport and Da Nang Airport).

Visa on arrival can be collected at Vietnam’s land crossing borders, but by this way, it is more complicated. Please talk to us for more information.

How to apply for a visa on arrival

There are 3 main steps to apply for a Vietnam Visa on Arrival:

Step 1: Get started by sending us these following information

  • Your Name: (As printed in your Passport):
  • Gender:
  • Date of Birth (Date/month/year):
  • Passport Number:
  • Expiration Date:
  • Nationality:
  • Vietnam arrival date:
  • Copy of your passport: (scan and e-mail)

We will submit this information to the Vietnam Immigration Office and get your visa approval letter within 2 (two) to 3 (three) business days.

Step 2: Confirm your Visa details and pay online through a trusted method

Before processing to payment, recheck all of your details for Visa to make sure everything is correct and in good order. Then continue to fill in payment information in a secure page created for your inquiry from our trusted partner bank. All the information you provide will be kept confidential.

Step 3: Get Visa Approval Letter and prepare for getting Visa stamped on arrival

  • Receive a Visa Approval Letter via email from us (attached with For Entry And Exit – Application Form).
  • Print out the Letter and the Application Form.
  • Fill out the Application Form.
  • Prepare 2 passport sized photos (4×6) and USD in cash for your visa stamping fee which you have to pay upon arrival

Make sure you have the above documents along with your passport in a good hand, then submit them to Immigration Officers at Vietnam arrival airports to get your visa label on your passport.

The Approval Letter should be adequate to prove that you are allowed to entry Vietnam if it is one of the boarding requirements from your airlines operator. Vietnam International Airports are: Noi Bai Airport, Da Nang Airport and Tan Son Nhat Airport.

Special note: 

If you travel to Vietnam by land crossing border (boat, bus, train), please make sure you have the Visa in advance or you have to apply for a specific land crossing approval letter of visa on arrival in advance.

Vietnam visa exemption

Who need and who do not need a visa to Vietnam:

Nationals of certain countries may visit Vietnam without visa for a period of time, hereunder is the list of countries and regions that have visa exemption arrangements with Vietnam.

Updates on 01/07/2016: Starting from 01/07/2016 to 30/06/2017, visitors from the following countries may not need a visa to Vietnam for less than 15 days: Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Spain.

Special Exemptions

APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) holders economies may visit Vietnam for less than 60 days.

Those who directly visit Phu Quoc Island without a visa for up to 30 days. Foreigners and Vietnamese nationals bearing foreign passports who enter Vietnam through an international border gate and then travel to Phu Quoc Island and stay in Phu Quoc less than 30 days will also be granted Vietnam visa exemption. After arriving in Phu Quoc Island, if visitors want to travel to other localities or stay in the island for more than 15 days, the immigration department will be responsible for issuing visas right on the spot.
