In Southeast Asia, surrounded by Cambodia, Laos and China, with 3 260 km of coastline. The ¾ of the country are covered with mountains and hills (highest point is Mount Fansipan : 3 143 m)

Climate: Vietnam is located in the monsoon zone. Weather is hot and humid from north to south (winter only exists in the north from November to April)

Formalities:

Passeport valid for 6 months upon arrival.

Visa: some nationalities need it in advance, some don’t. The standard length of stay for tourist visas is 30 days, for visa-exempt nationalities it is 15 days. If you are staying more than 15 days and from a Western country, you’ll still need a visa (or approval letter from an agent) in advance. We can arrange any type of visa for you upon request.

Best time to go:

  • North of Vietnam: from November to May
  • Center of Vietnam: from February to June
  • South of Vietnam: from December to April
